Description
Come and take a look at this antique beauty – this is an 18ct sapphire and diamond antique gypsy ring.
It dates from 1909, so from the Edwardian era. This is a classic style, first popular in the Victorian era.
It continues to be a favourite antique ring style today, and it’s easy to see why,
It houses three stunning sapphires and two old mine cut diamonds. These stones were all likely cut by hand by expert lapidaries and diamond cutters. This is why antique jewellery is so special! Everything was expertly made to last for centuries.
The stones are in excellent condition and the sapphires have a beautiful blue hue – from cornflower to deep blue depending on the light.
A size P/8 and sizable. It features crisp and clean Chester hallmarks for the year 1909.
This piece is in excellent antique condition and can be worn daily. The engravings on each parallel side of the gallery have been rubbed from wear but this does not affect the ring in any way.
