A truly unique 18ct ruby and diamond engagement ring. This stunning piece features a 0.75ct pear cut ruby, flanked by two bezel-set round brilliant cut diamonds, est. 0.1tcw.
The ruby, a deep pink colour, is held in a white gold setting, high off the finger. There is plenty of space for a band to sit flush alongside this ring.
The shank is a bright yellow gold with a slightly square outline, making for a very distinctive design.
No hallmarks, but there are two 750 stamps present.
This ring is in excellent second hand condition. It is a size J 1/2 and can be resized within reason.
The ruby is natural and shows signs of heat treatment to improve clarity and remove unwanted inclusions. This is commonplace in the jewellery industry. It measures 4.8×7.1×2.4mm.
