A spectacular 18ct sapphire diamond engagement ring. This truly is a ring of dreams! Wherever you look, diamonds will sparkle.
This ring has a lot going on: In the centre, we find a breathtaking natural round cut Australian sapphire of approximately 1.4cts. This stone is of a vivid deep blue colour with some flashes of green. It is secure with four double prongs, sitting slightly above a halo of round brilliant cut diamonds. Below the halo we have an under halo, or diamond crown, for extra sparkle.
The diamonds continue, all in a bright bead pave setting, down three sides of the ring shoulders as well as the bridge. The end result is never ending shimmer and sparkle, all accenting and helping to show off the gorgeous centre stone. Total diamond carat weight is approximately 1.14cts, consisting of 116 diamonds!
This ring is modelled in a kind of cathedral/wed fit setting combo that sits higher than average above the finger. It makes a perfect engagement ring as it invites a wedding band to sit flush next to it.
Of course, this piece also makes a beautiful dress ring. There are no hard and fast rules! As always, it comes down to personal taste. It is certainly a showstopper for any occasion.
In excellent second hand condition, with only minor signs of wear on the band. There is an 18k and 750 stamp inside the band. Size M/6.5, please enquire for resizing.
