Description
What we have here is an absolutely joyful 18ct zircon diamond ring. Diamonds surround the striking blue zircon, creating a beautiful halo around it. The ring has a raised trellis setting with a plain straight band.
Please, do not confuse Zircon with Cubic Zirconia. One is a naturally occurring gemstone in its own right and the other is a largely synthetic diamond simulant!
Zircon comes in many colours and is a prized and beautiful gemstone with a hardness of 6-7.5 on the Mohs scale!
The aqua coloured centre stone has a diameter of 5mm and weighs an estimate of 0.4cts. The stone itself is in excellent vintage condition, with no abrasions to note. Total weight of this 18ct zircon diamond ring is 3.69g and it is a size K/5.5, resizable 2 sizes approximately. There is a hallmark for Sheffield 1977.
