Description
This is a Gorgeous statement 9ct Cubic Zirconia Bypass Ring in 9ct gold. The design is in a bypass style and features two large pear-cut CZs with 5 smaller channel set CZs on either shoulder. The stones have a truly brilliant sparkle and are sure to turn heads.
Cubic zirconia features 8-8.5 on the Mohs scale, harder than most semi precious gemstones. Naturally scratch resistant, with good care it will shine bright for many years to come. CZ occurs in nature in small quantities and is mainly man-made. First introduced to the jewellery market in the 1970s it makes an excellent diamond simulant!
The hallmark shows London (items for import to the UK have an upside down Leo sign, with the assaying by the London office in foreign country), 375, 1990.
The ring is in excellent vintage condition. The setting of the stones is very secure and they are free of scratches of abrasions – a testament to how caring the previous owner was!
Weighing 3.21g, it feels substantial without weighing down the finger. It is a size 7/N and it is possible to resize it one or two sizes if you need.
