Description
A splendid, chunky vintage ring set with 4 garnets and one ruby!
The history of this ring is unknown and so too the reason for this rich red ruby hiding amongst the garnets. The most plausible answer is it was a later replacement. In fact, even amongst the garnets, they are cut slightly differently so some of those too may have been replacements.
Either way, this fantastic ring has serious presence and is ready to be enjoyed.
It features a beautiful scrolled gallery, made to emulate the classic Victorian style, and a solid, plan gold shank.
Currently a size P/8 and resizable within reason. Please get in touch if you require a resizing quote! Hallmarks for London 1999.
This ring is in overall very good condition. There is no particular wear to the metal other than that commensurate with age. The stones have minor abrasions when viewed with a 10x loupe. They are all held securely in a claw setting.
