Description
One of the most popular chain styles in the antiques/vintage world is a classic Albert chain (or T-Bar). Originally used to hang pocket watches from a fashionable gentleman’s waistcoat, today they are worn as necklaces and my goodness do they look good!
This piece in particular is a 9ct gold fancy link chain with a rosy tint. Stamps for 9ct and the maker’s mark of FS can be found. I have dated this piece between the late 1890s and early 1900s.
It sits at 16 inches when worn, and features those coveted double dog clips! it is in excellent antique condition and is a stunning piece of jewellery to enjoy daily.
It weighs just over 15g.
