Description
A 9ct rose gold padlock pendant/charm. I would know this tone of rose gold anywhere as true antique. Sure enough, the crisp hallmarks on the reverse confirm my hunch. This pieces dates from Birmingham 1900, made by E. Whitestone & Son, known primarily as watch chain (Albert/T-bar) makers. This piece would have been the clasp of a bracelet.
Offered in very good antique condition, this 125 year old padlock is in perfect working order. It does have surface wear as expected with age and use.
Weighing 2.73g and would look fabulous as a pendant or added to a bracelet.
