Description
A striking antique spinning fob dating to c.1886. Set into bright 18ct yellow gold are a beautifully speckled bloodstone to one side, and deep red carnelian to the reverse. For its 138 years, it is in excellent condition. Both stones have light scratching across their faces, visible when light is reflected on them.
It features a really delightful ‘leather’ buckle motif forming the frame. On the bottom are slightly faded, but still visible hallmarks. This is really a beautiful piece, and very collectible. Offered in overall excellent antique condition.
The inside diameter of the bail is 6mm, so please keep this in mind when thinking of adding a chain to it!
It weighs 7.22g and measures 30mm in length, including the bail at the top.
