Description
A sumptuous, vintage 9ct half sovereign style ring, depicting King George slaying the dragon. Vintage from the 1980s/90s but has a much older feel to it.
The first sovereign rings were made in the 15th century, at the orders or King Henry VII! They have remained popular through the centuries and have of course kept or increased their value. With this ring you have the beauty of the half sovereign ring, without the hefty price.
It sits so nicely on the finger and is really comfortable to wear all day.
The hallmark is Birmingham 375 but no date letter. The back of the shank has some surface scratches, as you expect with vintage items, but no scratches on the face or back of the “coin”.
This ring weighs 3.13g and is a size Q/8.5. You can resize it a couple of sizes if you need.
