A modern classic. This is a 14ct yellow gold ring set with a vibrant central ruby and two brilliant diamonds either side.
With hallmarks for London 2004, although modern in style, I’m afraid this year makes the ring officially VINTAGE!
Focusing on the ring’s beautiful features rather than the passing of time, let’s take a closer look. The central round cut ruby is a deep pink colour. The four round brilliant cut diamonds frame the ruby perfectly, while adding lightness to the piece.
Now onto the style of the ring itself. It is a nod to the 40’s tank style, with more feminine features. The stones are tension set, which is a beautiful, bold design choice.
The ring is a size 7.5/O and I would not recommend resizing, in order to preserve its design.
Remember to get your pieces checked by a jeweller every 6-12 months to ensure all stones are secure in their settings. Especially if wearing daily!
