Description
A magnificent 18ct rose gold ruby diamond ring. This ring has a central brilliant cut, synthetic ruby which is a vibrant pink colour. Four diamond ‘leaves’ flank the ruby on each side. The result is a flowing, organic design which delights the eyes!
I believe this beautiful rose gold ruby diamond ring to be a contemporary, relatively recent creation. There are no hallmarks or stamps. There are however, signs of previous acid testing done to confirm the metal purity. It could be a custom-made ring but there is no way to be sure of its history. This is what makes second hand items so intriguing!
The weight of the stones are approximately: Ruby est 0.25ct, Diamond est 0.1ct combined.
This ring is currently size O/7.5. The stones present in very good condition, with tiny scuffs to the ruby girdle, and to a couple of the diamond facets. This is seen through a loupe or macro lens. The band shows only minimal signs of wear. All stones are secure in their setting.
