Description
Beautifully detailed vintage 9ct buckle ring.
Buckle rings have been popular since the Victorian era. They symbolised a number of things – eternal love, loyalty and memory of a loved one (especially after a loved one passed away). They held a lot of sentimental value to the wearer, and have since remained very popular.
This particular ring is nicely detailed. The band is made up of a two strand weave/braid and has wonderful hand engraving all the way around.
It is a size N or 7 and does have potential to be slightly resized. Weighing 2.18g and fully hallmarked. It is in excellent vintage condition with only minimal surface scratches on the back of the band, only really visible when examined closely with a camera or loupe.
