Description
Dainty 9ct flower drop earrings, set with a purple paste stone. Paste simply means specially cut glass, used as a gemstone simulant in jewellery. In this case it is likely simulating purple amethyst.
The front of each earring as well as the closure, has developed a dark patina over time. This is normal in old jewellery! These particular earrings are 50 years old, with hallmarks for Dublin 1973.
These earrings are offered in excellent vintage condition.
