An eye catching vintage 9ct snake ring. A favourite among vintage and antique jewellery lovers, this type of ring dates back to ancient times. Many cultures have them, and they continue to be popular today.
This particular snake ring has two red ‘eyes’ as well as a colourless stone above them. I believe the eyes are garnet and the other stone is glass or cubic zirconia.
There are hallmarks but wear makes them hard to read. My guess would be 1960s-1980s.
This vintage 9ct snake ring is a size N/7, weighs a total of 1.8g and the width of the front of the ring is 6mm. It is in very good vintage condition with light scratches commensurate with age and use.
