Description
This piece is very sweet and utterly sentimental. It is an 18ct vintage pearl diamond ring.
It features a central cultured pearl, flanked by small rose cut diamonds on either side. These antique stones sit securely in a mount resembling leaves. The result is very delicate and feminine.
What also makes this vintage pearl diamond ring special is the inscription on the inside of the band. There is a date (8-12-58), probably to commemorate the wedding or engagement a couple, along with a name on the other side. We can only imagine who this ring may have belonged to and what value it once held. That is what makes vintage and antique jewellery so special!
This ring is in very good vintage condition and is secure for careful daily wear. Some glue is visible on the sides of the pearl, from possible re-setting done at one time. It is not very noticeable when worn. Please remember the photos here are taken very close up on purpose!
It is a size N/7. I would not recommend resizing as taking out the pearl can be a risk. The ring weighs a total of 1.93g.
