Description
A sweet 9ct vintage shamrock pendant /charm.
Fully hallmarked for what I believe is Sheffield 1967 and in very good vintage condition, this item just shows some surface scratches consistent with its age.
Although small and dainty, this pendant is very solid and sturdy, so is perfect for everyday wear. It has some lovely hand engraved detailing throughout, which adds an elegant and thoughtful touch!
The jump ring has not been soldered closed, so this item could be also used on a charm bracelet.
Shamrocks were believed to ward off evil spirits by the Druids in Ireland. Later on, St Patrick used shamrocks as a metaphor to explain the Holy trinity. They are now very closely associated with Ireland and have become a much beloved symbol all over the world.
Perfect for commemorating St Patrick’s, or Ireland in general. Would make a beautiful and sentimental gift that will last a lifetime.
The chain in the photo is not included and is for display purposes only.
This item weighs 1.08g and measures 2.3×1.7cms including the jump ring.
