A truly lovely vintage silver Claddagh bracelet. Made of 925 sterling silver and in excellent vintage condition, this bracelet is a rare find!
The Claddagh is one of the most popular symbols in Ireland, and has its origins in The Claddagh, which was an old fishing village in Galway in the west of Ireland. We have the heart for love, the Crown for loyalty and the hands for friendship. This symbol was originally made as an engagement ring, and is attributed to Richard Joyce.
This symbol is now seen not only on rings but on every kind of jewellery you can imagine! It always remains popular with tourists and locals alike.
This bracelet is stamped 925 and has a rubbed maker’s mark also. Its full length is 21cms, and it weighs 10.66g.
