Description
A rarely seen gem, this is Zultanite, sometimes called Turkish Diaspore. The oval cut gemstone is a brownish-green colour, which leans much more towards green in real life. The photos do not reflect its true colour, please keep this in mind! This stone is pleochroic and also shows subtle colour change under different light conditions. To me this is what makes it so unique and special.
Claw set, it is flanked by three round cut white topaz on either side. All the stones are in a slightly raised setting.
The central gemstone measures 6x8mm. The ring is in overall excellent pre-loved condition, and has a 9k stamp inside the shank. It is likely less than 15 years old.
