A splendid pair of 14ct coral drop earrings. Within a beautiful closed-back, floral setting, sits a Mediterranean red coral cabochon.
These earrings have a drop length of 3cms and are lovely and light. The coral gives a bright pop of colour and really makes for a classical, vintage look.
Though no stamps are present, the 14ct coral drop earrings test as 14ct gold. They are likely Dutch in origin and as for age, my guess is they are between 50-60 years old.
Coral, like most other gem materials used in jewellery, often undergoes colour and quality enhancements. This has not been confirmed in these earrings.
They are in excellent vintage condition and are in full working order.
