A modern 9ct iolite ring. The colour of this gemstone is so captivating, somewhere between blue and purple!
Iolite is a 7-7.5 on the Moh’s scale of hardness, and can be susceptible to breakage if knocked too hard. However the bezel setting is protective and the ideal choice for a stone like this.
The stone is in very good condition, with minimal/light wear only when viewed with a 10x loupe.
The ring itself is made with a raised bezel setting and a slightly tapered band.
There are hallmarks for Sheffield 1996.
Size 7.5/O and resizable within reason.
