It sits 6mm above the finger, allowing for stacking with a band if you desire. The stone measures 7x10mm. This is a modern ring, of probably 5-10 years old. It has been well cared for, with just light general signs of wear on the band.
The moissanite is a bright white, high colour grade with plenty of fire. Moissanite has a higher refractive index than diamonds, meaning that technically, it has more brilliance!
It is a 9.25 on the hardness scale, very similar to sapphire and ruby. It is an extremely durable and hardwearing gemstone and above all, beautiful!
