Description
This is a special vintage 9ct padlock pendant. It is rare to come across one in this particular shield shape. With a square top that tapers down to a point, this padlock has a beautiful brushed finish.
Unlike some similar pendants, the top of this piece does not open. This tells me perhaps it never belonged to a charm bracelet, but instead is a purpose-made pendant.
Weighing a healthy 2.2g and measuring 1.4x2cms, this vintage 9ct padlock pendant makes a gorgeous, substantial addition to your favourite chain. It will fit even heavy chains thanks to the bail being so large.
It features 9ct stamps and a Dublin maker’s mark, but the date stamp is sadly not visible.
