This is a vintage crest signet ring, crafted in 9ct yellow gold. The crest/seal itself shows a fish, which is very important in Christianity, symbolising the resurrection of Christ. It could be a family crest as well as simply religious.
There is an import hallmark for Dublin, 1999. Weighing a chunky 8.9g, it’s certainly a heavy statement piece. It is a size 7/N but fits a size 6.5/M comfortably as well, as it’s so thick.
This vintage crest signet ring is in good condition. Its condition is commensurate with its age and wear, the evidence being in the scratches and nicks throughout the ring. It makes no difference to its sturdiness. This piece has lots of life left in it! It’s really a superb ring to add to your vintage collection.
