A truly lovely vintage silver Claddagh bracelet. Made of 925 sterling silver and in excellent vintage condition, this bracelet is a rare find!

The Claddagh is one of the most popular symbols in Ireland, and has its origins in The Claddagh, which was an old fishing village in Galway in the west of Ireland. We have the heart for love, the Crown for loyalty and the hands for friendship. This symbol was originally made as an engagement ring, and is attributed to Richard Joyce.

This symbol is now seen not only on rings but on every kind of jewellery you can imagine! It always remains popular with tourists and locals alike.

This bracelet is stamped 925 and has a rubbed maker’s mark also. Its full length is 21cms, and it weighs 10.66g.

Care guide	• Keep away from harsh chemicals and creams. • Take off while exercising, showering, cooking or performing other manual tasks. • Give it a quick polish with a silver polishing cloth every few weeks or as needed to keep its shine. • If very tarnished, line a bowl with tinfoil (shiny side up), fill with enough boiling water to cover the piece of jewellery, add about a tablespoon of baking powder and soak the item, making sure it touches the tinfoil, for approx. 5 minutes. Carefully remove and rinse under the tap. Pat dry with a microfiber cloth. • Silver is a soft metal so always store in a jewellery box or soft pouch, making sure it is not rubbing against other jewellery.
