There’s just something about vintage silver jewellery. This adorable vintage silver heart necklace is full of vintage charm. At first it may seem like a locket, but the pendant is actually just a puffy heart!
It features beautiful and delicate engraving and has a ‘silver’ stamp on the reverse. What makes me sure this item is vintage, if not antique, is the barrel clasp with its ‘sterling’ stamp. Barrel clasps are not common in contemporary necklaces but are very often a feature in necklaces pre-1970s.
This vintage silver heart necklace is eighteen inches long, the pendant measures 20x13mm and weighs 3.2g. It is in very good vintage condition.
