A lovely pair of rectangular cut white opal studs set into 9ct yellow gold.
These white opals are truly splendid and they play so nicely with the light.
The butterfly backs are mismatched but one is stamped 9ct and all metal has been professionally tested for 9ct gold.
The different backs make no difference to the functionality of the earrings.
However, I would advise care is taken when wearing them, as the opals are a soft and delicate stone. I would just be mindful and treat them with extra care!
Store them carefully and take them off when at home.
